Hi
Well i'm planning on doing another trackday in the xr2tt, But i need to sort the oil pressure drop problem round corners (both ways)
On way home from work i took a detour to a local bit of dual carraige way with roundabouts, and thro the car around and watch oil pressure gauge at same time,
Holding rpm at 3000rpm, on hard right or left turns, oil pressure dropped from 60 psi to 30psi which proves a problem.
Edited, as was looking at goin Big wing, but not going to now...

Nope-
I have seen one on an NA CVH but never on a turbo.
There was a reason why but I'm not too sure of it-
I know the exhaust clearence was an issue when we looked at fitting it to a turbo becuase the car we pulled it off had a tilted engine.

Forces under cornering and braking cause the engines oil to pool to the side. This can cause starvation as the pickup/scavage point is uncovered.
This basically keeps a small supply of oil in the gated area to supply in these conditions.

Been out and tested the sump,
And its alot better on right hand corners, braking and accelarating,
But left hand corner's are still the same, oil pressure dropping to 30psi from 60psi,
So gonna have to try again

Dry sump,
Is a system, where the std oil pump and sump is replaced with
electric oil pump,
a oil tank which supplie's the new pump with consistant oil, and oil is then pump's round the engine, then a catch sump is fitted replacing the std sump, and returns the oil back to the oil tank.
The advantage is the engine oil flow/pressure is set to the set amount, weather the engines not running, on idle or at the redline.
Also i believe the oil stay cooler, and is filtered before it enters the engine.

you don't need to start agian
that doesn't work because you are still using a dip stick that will stop the gate from opening
