i dont know a lot about them, but the 944 S2 is one of my favorite porsche's, a mate had a S2 turbo a few years ago, i think it was 250bhp standard, it was a quick car.

err nope ?????

S2 3.0l 4 pots a good one, 200ks no problem for them, i'd try and find a leathered up one, as the cloth/cord interiors are very dated unless your into the 80s thing

Steve.

There is a white one at the end of my road that is for sale, the owner is 1 of only 4 i think and has been owned by him forever and a day

Its £3250 and well worth looking at if thats the car your after.

Truth is i have no experiance with the 944 but when i looked under the hood it all looked in good condition etc..

I dont know how far away you are but the car is near UpminsterBridge station.

If you want a umber or picture ill sort it out for ya.

Regards
Jano

I always liked the 944 but a pal of mine just bought one (not sure how old as he has a private plate on) and he's getting the piss ripped about a mid-life crisis - seems like he's hit the male equivalent of the menopause....

I've had a 944 Turbo, quick car. I think the disadvantages are that they are starting to look dated now and the parts cost a fortune! I had to replace the front spot/foglight and it was £220 (and that wasn't straight from Porsche either) and I had to fit it myself, which was also a nightmare job.
