God I'm so relieved! Right now I'm feeling:





I found out yesterday but then found out my notice period may be 4 weeks, so I didn't want to say anything until that had been explained to the employer, and although it might only be 2 weeks now, even if it's 4 the job is still mine. God I'm so glad to be getting out of 1st line support..... No more having to talk to idiots all day and take shit from people just because they fooked up

There will still be 1st line stuff involved in the new job (Junior Network Support Admin) but there's also lots of hardware/software stuff, should hopefully learn lots about networking and server admin too. I'm scared I won't measure up lol but hopefully I'll be fine.

I'm in the mood to celebrate!

LOL yes, that's definitely the top of my current to-do list! Fluid looks fine, I think I have a worn pad on one corner, which is fromt he seized caliper I'm attributing the steering vibration to. That's just speculation at this point though

Congrats Jay, and I know what you mean about escaping from 1st Line (and 2nd Line) Support, it's brilliant!

I've been doing 3rd Line (NOC) stuff for about 18 months now, and loving it so far! Dealing with suppliers, rather than customer, it's great not to have to explain to someone which way up to hold a mouse!
