I have put the standard injectors and turbo back on it to get better fuel economy out of it, that way i can drive it a lot more often rather than just once a week. I MAY also sell it (dont really want to) so in taking off all the gear i can re-coup my money back from the turbo, ecu and injectors, as im sure you know this will not add value to the car.
I se your MS sold for £218 on eBay, thats a cheap ecu for someone! i paid £210 for a kit that i then had to solder and flash my self!

You should be able to get similar/better fuel economy when mapped IMO.

If driven gently then possibly, but with a huge turbo and big injectors, making about 100bhp more and driven quite hard then no, you wont!
And the other reason still stands too.
