Although i would want to look at the rear diff mountings personally if using it.
Seriously temping though at some point to go down that route, i love E36 M3's and that seems a good way to go.
Personally i would probably rebuild the engine with some slightly lower cr pistons and decent rods anyway though, just cause its only a couple of grand to do so yourself and is good insurance.

You pay for the parts, some people pay less making a 450bhp YB than others pay making a 400bhp one, depends on what your priorities are.
But its certainly an awesomely affordable way of getting a fantastic 500bhp car, so im sure we all agree on it representing value in that respect

Personally i look at the actual work invovled and parts used when i decide if something is good value or not.
So a stage 3 covnersion on a cossie, i view as fairly priced even though it gives MASSIVE gains (like 50%+)
Where as if someone was selling good quality throttle body conversion for the YB compelte with high CR pistons etc for the same money i would view that as better value even though it would only result in your ending up with standard power.

I have basic mechanical skills, and can happily do plenty on a car, but there are very few cars that you could easily modify the engine yourself with my level of skill for example to end up with that sort of power level as a final result........ if you get what I mean.
I would never look to personally build a 500bhp YB for example, as I couldn't offer myself the same level of reliability that this kit would appear to offer.

This bit contradics everything I've read on Forums over here, shows how much they know
"Standard six speed M3 Euro transmission is used and not modified. Standard M3 trasmission is made by Getrag Germany. This is similar to the transmissions used on Toyota Supras, both transmissions are from the same family. Supras' transmissions are also made by Getrag. There are many 1000 hp Supras with Getrag transmissions and they do not have any problems, either. 1000 horsepower Toyota Supras attend drag races and have good results with original transmissions. M3 owners have another advantage: M3's six speed transmission has a higher torque rating than that of Toyota Supra's"

Eil, are you doubting that company or the people on the forums?
I know people who have nitrous'd M3's and had NO problem with that 6 speed box.
PON, it certainly looks like its a simple job from the site, wether it would last though there is only one way to find out sadly!

Personally i believe the answer is YES, but i would absolutely 101% recomend that if you went down this route you get someone such as Stu@MSD or Mark@MAD or Karl@NMS to check over the fuelling and ignition to ensure its safe.
