Default GOOD BUFFER N COLOUR RESTORER??

right well as half of you know I tried T-cuting my RST and left it on a bit too long

and now cant get it back to how it was by just using elbow grease.

just gonna buy a buffer, anyone got any recommendations???

and also have i to just use T-cut (not leave it on as long tho ) or buy something different? (got lots of fine scratches I need to get rid of)

Try G3 mate, its slightly coarser than t-cut but you use it with a wet cloth.

Then IMO Butter Wax is about as good stuff as you can get to buff a car up.

decent mops are around £100, dunno what halfords £30 job is like

and as said, use G3, but, MIX IT WITH WATER!!!!

look on machinemart.co.uk or similar and have a look at the stayer ones. I have one - think it was about £130ish. very good piece of kit with adjustable speed so its easy to use. avoid the cheap halfords crap - neither use nor ornament.

G3 good luck is what it should be called if youve never mopped a car before i can guarantee that you will be down to the primer in about a min with G3.
IMO take it to a bodyshop to be done properly or buy a 'polisher' from Makro or where ever and put a bit more time into it.. you will get the same result but without removing half your paint!

cabrio - yeah never used one before, when you say polisher whats that? the paste stuff? or something simialr to a buffer?

reckon i'm best just gettin it done by the pro's?

any decent bodyshop or valeting company would be able to sort it expect to pay anywhere between £50 - £100 to have the whole outside mopped and then polished. Lot cheaper than buying a polisher and all the compound
