Default Problems with bd14 cams

a friend has a small problem....

he had bought bd14 cams and on the inlet cam, there is a groove but not the same as standard .



on the exhaust side, there is no groove !!!!!!

Do you have an idea how to fit the vernier pulley on it ???

I suppose that he need to machine it.



If somebody has an idea .....

Sorry, i dont understand what your asking.

What groove? Do you mean on teh bearing? If so, that is correct, but what has it to do with your verniers?

Unless you mean the woodruff keyway?

i don't know the word in english

it's a machined line on the cam which permit to fit the pulley on it with a little piece to sold it . it's the keyway ?

Ah yes, its called a KEYWAY and the item that fits into it is called a WOODRUFF KEY.

I personally would send the cam back if it arrived without one, even though technically it does not need one.

Sorry? If you arew asking what i think your asking, then no there is not.

118 degrees with a 360degree wheel and DTI dial is 118 degrees.
