Head question...

Someone I know is selling a worked head from an early engined XR2 (hemi) and I'm wondering if its the same as an RST head...

I know the chambers are the same, but is there anything else that would change the characteristics of it to make it unsuitable for the ERST...

I I remember correctly the RST heads have sodium filled exhaust valves to keep them cooler. Just swap the valves over and you should have no problems!

the ports are a different shape too, and youll need to blank off the fuel pump on the head also.......

the RST head has the fuel pump outlet anyways, and thats blocked off with a cap so that won't be a problem...

What do you mean about the ports? just the square and round zorst?
