So does that mean they are worth more (LOL!)

Bought them on ebay as being 4x4 parts but they have the wrong bottom joint. Don't suppose there's a great deal of point asking to send them back - the post was £8!

Unless you have the three-door hubs to go with them...

With the extended knuckle?

This is a VERY worthwhile conversion for Sapphire 2wd owners .

Retains much more accurate geometry control - hence why it was designed for the 3-door homologation cars (for racing). It was ommitted from the Sapphires being seen as not required. This means that Sapphires have variable geometry control on the front suspension changing from positive to negative camber as the suspension moves up and down (when lowered) .

The three door with it's extended knuckle means that the TCA is at a steeper angle which remains pretty constant with suspension travel. The Sapphire one without the knuckle is at a much shallower angle as standard, but goes parrallel when lowered. This means that as the suspension compresses / unloads, the TCA pulls and pushes the hub for random geometry settings much like it does on the rear .
