Default Pedal Box assembly?

Got my bias pedal box (cheers Tim!), and at the risk of sounding stupid, I need to know how to set these up before installation.

Actually putting it in the car is done - what I need to know is how you set each cylinder up, and how you lock off the thread on the master cylinder rods?

Pedal box:

Brake bias:

Never done this before.................. Mark, yes I know we spoke on the phone, but it might be more easily explained with pics

The thread goes to an adjustable bias knob via a cable( see Demon Thieves catalogue) so you can have more pressure to front or rear, if you get one that clicks its better, mine has 18 clicks, What do you mean by setting them up?

oh and make sure your 'free play'into teh cylinders is the same when the pedal is in the 'brakes off ' position i.e usually screw the threaded bar of the master into the recievers the same amount before lock nuting them

i fixed my adjuster on the box and use a bias valve to adjust the bias to the rear now, as the pedal box is harder to move when drivin

Not a bad idea Dingly...............

How did you secure the master cylinder rods to the bias bar, to stop them undoing?

One nut on each master cylinder rod?

if you need to further restrict the line pressure with pressure reducers then your brake setup is not specced properly - been there done that !!

Really, works fine with the pedal box, the bias adjuster is to make it easier on the driving so you can also been there done that.

yes really if you have a bias pedal box then why do you need a line pressure reducer ???

Box is setup, but the weather changes so u need a little tweek, so would sooner do it with the bias of the line adjuster so the pedal feel stays the same

Its just for fine adjustment, and it does work, as for most rally boys
