Single turbo XR4i is either a Turbo Technics or Janspeed conversion usually. Pretty good if you are happy with performance comparable to a standard cossie.

As mentioned all single turbos were 2.8 not 2.9 so the seller has probably got that wrong.

Out of interest, anyone know how hard it is to get hold of one of these engines/conversions, and what sort of price's they fetch? (Either single or twin)

Getting a whole kit can be quite hard because a lot of people selling the kits don't actually know all the parts that are involved. For instance the 2.8 turbo has a special dizzy and metering head.

Prices vary a lot and are very dependant on the condition of the kit.

Just have been thinking of getting another TVR S2, and wondering how easy it was to get hold of a tubo technics engine to dump in it.

The 2.8 single turbos come up reasonably often
