inside the actual breather can (uprated from standard)
is there supposed to be a baffle or plate that divides (or nearly divides) the side all the pipes go into from the other where the pipe for the catch tank/vent to atmos goes ?
its just i took mine off tonight to clean it out, and was having a look,
and it appears to be Just a can with a few pipes coming off it
thought there was supposed to be more to it than that (for 100 odd quid or whatever they cost lol)
PS: ive no idea what make mine is, as it was on the car when i got it lol

There *should* be in theory, to allow the vapour to condense and return to sump, and then allow any remaining vapour to breathe to atmosphere/catch tank.
Have heard before that some are just shiny 'tins'..... but not many people chop the top off a £100+ tin to find out

If the pipe that lets the air out comes from the top, and the pipe that lets the oil out comes from the bottom, that pretty much does the job anyway without needing anything else, plus it wont ever get clogged up.

Normally its an input on one side at the top, and an outlet at the bottom on the same side, then from the far corner there is a pipe running from the top that lets the air out, gravity is the thing that does the "seperating" bit
