I think to go out on the road the person in the passenger seat has to be either over 21 or 25 and been driving for x amount of years, (think it's 3?) dunno about car parks, i used to just do it years ago when my girl was learning.

just dont let her get a qoute on the turbo as with you and her on it will probably only go up about Ł100 and she will be wanting to learn in that good luck

You need to be 21+ years old, and have had your driving license for 3+ years. You need to be the policy holder on the car in use, and she has to be a named driver on the same policy. HTH

You're not going to teach her in the RS are you??

Her inctructor is very irresponsible, if she drives in a "public place" such as a supermarket carpark or basically anywhree the public have free access to then she could be prosecuted for no insurance, and you could get an IN12 for letting her!

chip3door thought as much mate, cant afford any points on my licence as i need it for work,no licence no work so she'll get told politely to pay the difference to the insurance or go fuck herself

As has already been said. As long as she's insured on your car, you've got L plates on, you're over 21 and have held a full license for over 3 years then you can take her on any roads except motorways.

I helped to teach my sister to drive when my dad wasnt able to give her lessons.

One thing to note though is the car is still your responsibilty so if she gets done for speeding you get done for speeding etc. IIRC
