Has anyone been to Alton Towers waterpark, or stayed in the hotel. Is the waterpark any good?

What are the new rides at alton towers like? eg Air and Rita.

Havent been for years, and im going for a couple of days in the hotel tomorrow.

Rita rocks! Air is wierd but cool, when i went it was bitter cold! should be a bit warmer now tho

We stopped in the Princess suit top floor for 2 nights in the main hotel and that was £250 per night at the time now its something like £500 per night

Air, nemisis, oblivion and rita are brilliant

The Waterpark is very good, nice and humid in there so you can go in on a rainy day and enjoy it.

Rita was the last major ride there, before that was Spinball Whizzer.

ive been and stayed in the hotel and been to the waterpark, it was great, we got a special deal i think it was 50quid per person inc room water park and entry to the park, the room was a very good size we got 5 people in it, the water park is mainly aimed at little uns but i went on my 21st and i had a right laugh lol it was warmish outside and we sat outside most the day in the outdoor pool it was gorgeous!!
