Right ive just bought a Nokia 9300 off my dad and im not quite sure how i go about connecting it to the net ? is it like a centrino laptop ie i can walk into an internet cafe and start surfing ?

These phones dont support wifi so you cant connect with hotspots.

You will need to set up the GPRS / EDGE for your network provider. Best to make sure you have a suitable tarrif that makes using it affordable!

if you have a t-mobile contract you can add an allmost unlimited gprs useage for Ł7.50 a month

if that phone does suport proper internet then yes, you too can post at 2am in the morning from gthe comfort of your works car park when on the night shift!
