Default Correct procedure for adjusting Cosworth fuel pressure?

Hi
Can somebody tell me the correct procedure for adjusting the fule pressure on a YB please?
I obviously know that i need to adjust the fuel regulator but the info i am after is at what revs do i take the reading/s and do i do it with the vacum pipe on or off? Also what should the pressure be on a YB running stage 1 Dark blues and 15 psi on a T3??
Cheers Spadge...

Spadge,

Here's my preferred procedure: "pick up the phone and book an appointment with Mark Shead"

I have no idea, so here's a free to make up for me being facetious (sp?)

All done
Was reading nearer 4 bar at idle with the vacum pipe off but i'm guessing it was adjusted upwards for the stage 3 i just removed?
Is sitting bang on 3.5 bar now until i re-fit the vacum pipe and then it drops down to just over 3 is that about right Stu??
Cheers Spadge...

Thats correct for my software. Other tuners do other things, but i would rather you be able to take the car anywhere, have a new reg fitted if need be and teh car come out safe and ready to hammer, where as if the pressure needed to be higher, and you or teh person fitting your new regulator didnt know...

very wise stu...... would you think iwould get any gain or is there any point in fitting a fse power boost valve, instead of using the standard reg?

Been thinking about it for a while but not sure if its worth it really , whats your opinion?

Thanks mate!

For christs sake dont fit one of those, the Weber reg rises rate just bloody fine. If you want to waste your money, go and get pissed instead.
