Default Peeps With ACT Guages.....

A few days ago mine started to read all sorts of different temps... i.e. -0.11c, 56.c etc.....

Some really random temps, now i do know the answer already....... Is it knackered?

Its stopped reading altogether now, just shows -.--c

I'm going to see Mr Rainbird about it, but i wanted to see if its possible to repair first

Have you checked the sensor?

Depending on the position, it might be sitting against the side of the pipe or better still, come off and gone through the engine!

if its reading --.- it could have come unplugged from the back of the gauge.

Also
Check that the wire going into the vacuum elbo isnt bent over or broken.

That is a possibilty i spose, i know all the fittings are fine. I'll remove the 90° angle and see if its still there

As said, make sure the gauge hasn't become unplugged, as it gives the three dashes if it does (and reads hay-wire as it starts to become unplugged).

The other reason that it may read three dashes is if the wire is severed in any way.

All our gauges come with a life-time warranty against manufacturing defects anyway, so if it isn't just a case of it simply becomming unplugged, it will get replaced / repaired FOC .
