Default CVH Hydraulic cam followers.

So, is there such a thing as a good quality Hydraulic cam follower without having to pay £15 odd each for Ford ones? Are they even good quality these days?

Any idea's peeps?

Christan, are you running Hydrolic?? anti pump or std??

as i'm haveing problems with my engine, as it wont rev past 6300 in top,

So its either down to my lifters, or single valve springs, both of which Kent cams sold me when i brought my 36 cam, (2k miles ago)

I have 2 different CVH followers sitting here on my desk at the moment for inspection. I have to say that one looks like every other follower I have ever seen (from Ford or Kent/Piper etc), but the other looks considerably better.

I can't imagine that either Ford or Motor-factors know what is meant by Anti-pump.

ford are now buying the lifters from some motorfactors and are nowhere near the quality they were, i went through a few sets with ford to try and find the original quality ones which are just old stock!!

im also interested to see if there are any good quality ones around for decent money
