Default WHEEL SIZES????


Need to know what offset wheel i may need as the ones iv,e got,the back of the spoke touches the face lof the caliper,by the sticker.Don,t quite understand tne numbers.Mine are 7x17 ET40.

ET40 is the wrong offset for your S2. It needs to be ET35. Get a 5mm spacer and you're sorted

Got a 5mm spacer today,still touches Think it might be the rim design.How do other people get big brakes on series 2???

What size are the brakes? Cos I've seen 330mm and 4 pots on a s2 no bother

They are 320mm focus rs calipers and discs.Are alloy bells an option with these discs?

sure christian has 16" rims with these brakes, so thats not really an issue tbh. it probably is the design of the rim as thats why most folk use comp mo's because they have most caliper clearance...... i could be wrong of course...

Have seen 2 people with 17,s.Pretty sure it can be done.

by the looks of it its the wheel design and offset

you should be using et35 , the main problem is the design as the spokes are straight, if they were curved then you wouldnt have any issues i rekon

try and get hold of a diferent 17 rim and try it to see if they clear then

40 - 17 = ET23. Not much chance of not catching your arches. Change your wheels, or get bells and brackets with more offset.
