Hi guys,

After a bit of advice if possible?? I have recently installed a stage 3 Hybrid on my series two RST and have had it set up but when it was set up it was only set to 14 psi.

Now my standard turbo use to run 18 psi with no problems but now i think im not getting the most from my new turbo. Can anyone tell me why it was set to this and or if i can turn it up more??? Thought they could cope with at least 18 if not 20 easily.

Any help would be appreciated! Many thanks

You're new turbo will make more power at less boost m8.

You can easily run 30psi+ if you put a restrictor in your inlet ports

I have run 30psi on a Stage 3 T3. I wouldn't advise copying that though, unless you have someone seriously experienced in fuelling that much boost.

probably because you didnt tell whoever set it up what boost you wanted??!

yes it can run 20psi but unless you tell them they wont just put it at whatever

I asked them to set the car up to its best potential which i thought would mean sorting the boost out to a suitable level. Im sure its there for a reason so will prob just leave it as is.

i run 1.6/1.7 spike 1.1/1.2 held on a stage 1

although it did run mint when i had amal valve problem and spiked to well over 2 bar
