does anyone know of any kits u can buy to take etching off a window. nothing dodgy here, just i got a screen off someone and didnt notice it had his number plate on it

 

Loads of stuff in your kitchen that will be able to cover it over with.

Nothing that you can remove the numbers with only cover them up.

 

The numbers are as it says - etched into the glass. That means they are actually burned into the surface of the glass with a specially acidy type stuff.

We do this at work, and the only way I can think of to cover it up is to use the acidy stuff to "block" over the number plate numbers. So instead of having a bunch of etched numbers you have a small etched rectangle on the screen instead.....

 

does it really matter if its a different number? would look more sus if it was covered over

 

What about Jewellers rouge? I'm sure I read somewhere that it would polish the surface of the glass and remove the etching?
