Default Squeaky front wheel bearings?

anyone ever seen/had a squeaky front wheel bearing?

The noise changes the faster you go and happens all the way upto about 30 mph, although that could just be your going to fast to hear as it's not really that loud.

It stops when you apply the brake but also when you surn the steering wheel?

Get some copper grease on your pads...

the points it touches the caliper not the disk and all will be well.

Not always Alex.

My mintex 1144's made a squeeking noise that got faster as you drove faster. they were VERY well cooper slipped up on the backs and they still did it. I came to the conclusion that i had cooked them on a track day and the surface of the pad haed been compressed and hardened and made a squeak noise as it kissed the disc on each rotation.

I fitted some Ferodo DS2500's and problem cured

What pads you using, i'll bet its your pads
Oh and mine did exactly like yours, noise got worse when turning one way and the noise disapeared when turning the other way.

To double check if its the pads, if you drive along and turn the direction that causes the squeek and just touch the brakes very gently, does the noise disapear ?
