Bleeding water system in 2wd cossie

i think i have a air lock in my water system, as temps never been write since head gasket few weeks back.
how do i get them out,
and whats the best way to bleed system??
p.s. tried searching but it's not working properly

textbook advice from web BUT to be honest spiky ive never bothered with the bleed hose (i know for sure mine has one), always just filled up from header tank whilst squeezing hoses, once the level seemed to stablilise i start car and top up as necessary, then let the fans cycle, never had a prob yet and have done it a few times now

Thats it!
BTW good idea to set the heater controls to HOT (red zone) during the bleeding process, should prevent an air lock in the heater loop (circuit)..........

In that case, park the car on a sligtly upwards surface (nose up), remove the cap from the header tank, make sure heater is set to HOT and run the engine up to normal working temp - while keeping an eye on the water level. When the engine reaches working temp put the cap back on.
