2 Day test drive?
I'm currently fed up with my car, so ive half heartedly advertised it for sale, if it sells, it sells, if not, ill keep it.
Anyway, Guy and his mate (both mid 30's) came and viewed it this morning, seemed to quite like it, asked the usual questions, seemed to give it a good look over and were generally happy.
Got down to talking money, and the first thing he comes out with was;
"I like it, but i would like to drive it for a couple of days first, would that be alright?"
Me: "How do you mean?
"
Him: "well, could i have it for a couple of days for a proper test drive?, obviously i'd put some money your way if that was alright?"
Me: "Not really, i've got a fella coming to see it tomorrow if you dont take it" (bullshit, but needed a get out...)
Him: "Ah, ok, well im interested, if the guy tomorrow doesn't take it you can get in touch"
(shortened version, but you get the jist..)
What was that all about? as far as im aware its not a very common thing to do?

at Mike. What happened with that and Tiff in the end? Did the Uncle buy it or just put another 1k on the clock?Dave
