Personally mate - i wouldn't touch PTS in Luton with a very long stick...
Power Engineering - yep. I know Chris and I Ball very well and they'll see you right.
WRC Technologies - Chris is alright on the dyno up there for power runs, but when i was working up there i remember that they weren't particularly cheap...
Looks like it's PE for you fella.
£45 + VAT for a power run with fuelling/boost checks etc. as i remember

There is a place in Aylesbury that loads of us went to for a RR shootout thing a couple of years ago. Can't remeber the name of the place but i'm sure someone will know

Butch,
I'm not claiming to be a fountain of knowledge when it comes to being a tuner/mapper/dyno operator etc.
But i have spent the last 3 years learning the basics of all of the above - so when i went to PTS for a rolling road day i was somewhat shocked to see their idea of a power run being:
Put the car on the rollers.
Run it flat out to the limiter.
Not check the fuelling/emissions/boost.
Drive car off rollers.
Turn engine off.
Say "this is your power figure".
So, from cold, to the limiter, then straight off...
I know when i was at WRC Tech they'd do as many runs as necessary until they saw 2 runs within 1bhp of each other!!!
AFTER the car had been thoroughly warmed up and EVERYTHING checked...
PE's 4wd dyno is 400+ at least

One of my mates even said "Blimey, what's that in for" and was told that it was finished and being collected
