best way or product to clean my 2.0 Cylinder Head ?
anyone know best way or product to clean my 2.0 Cylinder Head ?
noticed its coked and wondered what you guys used, without taking it to get cleaned properly at a machinist, is it a nessaserry to get it coked? or can i leave it?
will i still need my head skimming if the head gasket did not blow?
i just took the head off to clean it and just wondering if it still will need skimming before it goes back on, as heard your not suppost to skim a turboed engine head?
#p.s its a 2.1 zetec turbo 7.4:1 comp

steam clean it... take it to a car wash place an blast it. then put it in your oven for a couple a hours.
you can use a long dead straight edge like a good wood saw or a long metal ruler with a set of feeler guages. you should not be able to measure 2thou gap on any of the surface. if you dont have feelers use a sheet of A4 paper.
