Default Exhaust fanimold question!

Since firing up the xr2 (efi turbo) ive noticed the exhaust manifold blowing, so ive removed the gasket/bolts (bolts/studs look a little fooked so will replace them!) and noticed that the shape of the holes in the head are 'D' shaped and the exhaust manifold are 'O' shaped. What gasket do i use and why are they different? Its a Blydenstein st3 head (unknown origin) and not sure on exhaust manifold.

Also where it was blowing the port looks pretty wet/dirty compared to the other 3 (port no.2 we are talking about). Is this a bad thing or was the manifold gasket the cause of this?

Cheers
Chris
