I thought it was average at best.

It's not a patch on the second one, and some of the acting performances are paughable.... Vinny

Some scenes are very cool, but overall, I left disappointed for what the movie could and should have been.

The best bit of the whole experience was seeing the Superman Returns trailer!

I watched it the day after it came out , i loved it , thought it was great, i didnt stay to after the credits tho - that got me intruiged (what happened there then)

left it open yet again for a 4th but i dont think they should imo leave it as the 3 - trilogy etc

It got panned by the critics over here. Alot of peeps went to see it based on the first 2 but the loss of the Director from the first 2 seems to have turned it into a turd.
Fans of the comic book will be mortified with this movie as it ruins the Phoenix saga and some of the characters from the comic book are killed off only for a caveat at the end to say - well hey we totally fooked up but maybe they'll come back - oh pleeeeeeeeease!

Yup MI3 was very enjoyable. The asian chic in the dress at the Vatican - *clunk* jaw hits floor!

im with pon on this one,it was entertaining, but not what i'd hoped for.

infact that goes for the whole trilogy for me, they didnt do it how'd have liked them to.

each to their own i spose

and pon, as for MI3 it was a pure actionfest, hardly a great film, i forgot what happened in it already

Jim - that's what I want from my action films though.

I don't expect to come out the cinema blown away by a Mission Impossible film, but I thoroughly enjoyed it.

i thought x3 was a bit pants
it would have made a good comic storyline, but as a film it was too boring, it just plodded along with a bit of a revalation here and there but nothing you couldn't have fitted into a 20 minutes short flick
in many ways it's the same as the first star wars film of the second lot, it had such a shit storyline it was packed out with filler for it's entrie length
the only good bits were the bit part characters who never even got a look in
3 out of 10

Think? It's not exactly a film to ponder over!

Just watch and enjoy.
