PLEASE HELP Camshaft identification
Hiya guys i baught a camshaft a while back and the seller told me it was a KENT CVH33k one but all its has stamped on it is. CWC, EP75, D1, C1, 85, 02 Please help guys i dont want to put in car if its just a standard one Cheers BAZ.

The sure way would be to measure the lift and duration. If u put a pic up so i could see the lobes, would prob be able to tell u if it's std or not.

hmm, hard to tell from there. In some of the pics, the lobes do look high lift, in others they don't . It looks like some of them worn - are they all equal?

Look on the dissy end of the cam, All kent cams have the part number on it there.
but still best to measure all lobes as well, as no point fitting a well worn kent cam.

um the usual light wear on the lobs think its only chill cast, but a lot better than the ford cam witch had only done 56k, the lobs are higher, if u run ur fingers from the runners across the first lob its almost level. un like the ford one witch the lob is lower kinda level with the end of the bevel, the lobs are also more rounded at the sides not so straight.

It has D1 and C1 marked in the middle, CWC and 02 makred a few inchs down, EP 75 marked on the other end a few inches down, it also has 85 in their and 1.5

what right at the end of the cam. 1 put cam in now was gonna just see what it was like tommorrow, was doing stem seals, tappets and cambelt anyway so thought i would give it a try.
