Take note of this rule before people carry on with the abuse and then question why they have a 24 hour ban

This includes publishing, distributing, circulating or otherwise propagating any material, which may be deemed abusive, offensive, anti-social, racist, sexist, distressing, harmful, cause anxiety, be of a threatening nature or be it of a general nuisance. Furthermore, any messages found to insult, discredit or bring disrepute to a Moderator or Moderators will be removed and the poster banned at the moderators descretion. As for hiding behind the rules... you read them before signing on didn't you
If not, your fault, if you did and are breaking them on purpose, why are you surprised that they are used and upheld against you ;?The mods put a lot of effort into PF behind the scenes, and I am sure they often miss out on the enjoyment this board can bring to all of us because they have to deal with so much crap

Tact, impartiality, honesty etc and someone who has repeatedly failed to show some of those qualities should expect some backlash when trying to enforce the same set of rules they've flouted previously.

I just cant beleive how Mr Banchester is so hated by the majority of the actual day to day users but still remains in power ....he must be sleeping with Stu...i am and it stops me from being lifetime banned...sometimes you have to do these things

My opinion is that some of his previous actions clash with his authority as moderator and I think many others agree with me.
There are many great moderators on this forum but they are let down by a couple of not so great mods imo.
