In reality though all i care about is paying 6k for a 8.5k car

Its gotta be worth what you paid for it if you fucking broke it, i just cant see how the value can ever get much lower when you get so much for the money!

This in std form with 0-60 in 5.2 seconds is actually quicker than my Ferrari to 60 by .1 of a second
Awesome car and is actually my other halfs daily runner

I must say i like these myself and have been browsing autotrader earlier at them, 4-5k gets a supercharged 6 cylinder with about 120k miles, which seems a bargain to me when you consider what they cost just ten years ago and still look good i think, about 280bhp? theres some on there that have done over 150k and look in mint condition. no scabby wheels etc.
Think i'll deffo have one one day as they're just cheap enough to not not have one!
89XR2, it has a disc in the shock with varying sized drillings around the edge, this disk is in the main cylinder of the shock and each time it rotates it allows a different amount of fluid through the hole. the bigger the hole the softer the damping as the fluid can move more easily, the smaller the hole the firmer the ride. It's simply the same as normal spax adjustables but with a motor/switch doing the adjustment instead of you getting out and doing it yourself.

PassionFord Post Whore!!
what are they actually like though?
are higher milage ones with 110k+ really best avoided or do they go on forever with no trouble? superchargers need rebuilding every 60k or something daft?
i know no-one who has owned one before you see so am abit clueless!

The key is full Jaguar history mate...110000 miles is not an issue.
I viewd a V8 XJR that had 167000 miles on it and the jaguar history confirmed supercharger untouched!
If its been looked after milage aint a worry IMO not with todays oils
