Default Launch Control???

I was flicking through the new demon tweeks (2006) and on page 213 item no.4 is a omex rev limiter with control thing. If anyone has seen this knows anything about it could ya explain to me please. can i fit it to my mfi rst? c'mon theres got a be a catch? aint there?

Cuts the ignition at set rpm. Had one, great fun on the motorway for flames

So could i use it to launch hard at santa pod or is it more of a gimmick?

All it does is what your right foot could do, i.e. hold the engine at set rpm. Still fun for flames

how do you wire it up? or do you connect it to the ecu?

You connect it to the coil, button looks good though

wicked! so do you hold the revs to say 3000rpm with your foot, then hold the btton and it will hold it there for you? so you can floor it and it will stay at 3000rpm? Think ill be getting one of them! Did you get popping and banging?

Hmmm, had a sound like a missfire, like running on 2 cylinders, wasn't quite antilag unless it was under full load down a country lane in 5th, then button pressed full throttle, in which case it went bang, just like the sound of the back box blowing up and a massive flame would shoot out the back It will hold set rpm though, just like your right foot with training

Got my launch control on a clutch switch as well as an extra button,should

be able to do full throttle gear shifts as well!
