U cant get them as gasket sets from ford anymore, u get em all seperatley. As said, the std gasket is the best - don't get a Felpro or anything labeled as GrpA - these are inferior.

oh right ok then cheers i will get a price 4 the gaskets seperately then and also how much roughly is a cam belt if anybody knows,also what head bolts should i use ive heard diesel head bolts r stronger but dont know how true this is

again, just go for the std head bolts - never a problem. Cambelt is about 18quid i think.

hard to get hold of standard erst head gaskets, tryed to get one a while ago from ford main dealer and thay told me thay were none in the country
thers always been a big dabate on ford ones and felpros but iv had both and can say both fail..the real truth is that the head gasket is a very weak link on the cvh.. as soon as you turn the boost up the head gasket wil probaly fail as many wil have done 70,80.000 miles already, the felpro or group A gasket was for the 1.9 cvh , loads of peeps have them with no probs but if you can get hold of the payen/ford gasket use that..

Ive never had a STD gasket fail. If they fail, it must be down to overheating or a warped head/block.

i got a price 2day 4 a standard ford head gasket and it was 30quid and if i order it friday i should hav it by monday i was told

My Payen one seems to be handling 30psi OK at the moment and this particular head gasket has endured more than one 165mph+runs and 2 water hose failures (caused by brittle hoses).
