right people after i did my 1.8 convertion in to my si i used all the si parts now todya i thought i would get the rest of the wiring on and my alternater dosnt fit now it come of the same bracket unless my alternate or bracket has so how changed any help ? seems the top of the alternater is hittin and the 1.8 alternater gose on compltyly difrent

the one that came off your car should go straight back on without any problems if you're using the bracket from your car. dosent matter if the engine is a 1.6cvh or a 2.0zetec, all the mounting points are virtually the same

thats what i thought but it wont fit mite try borrow a nother si alternater

u sure it just isnt being a pain to get it in? i had right problems aligning my alternatior on the 2.0si!
