Tips on...
Fitting a Mk4 Zorst.
Swaped zorsts round from my cabby to the XR3i cus the XR one was rotten to hell. Fitted it, and about three days later it starts blowing again.
So get under it, undo it, re tighten it, all is fine. then a few days later is it blowing again.
Now its just awful. Any guys got any tips to help stop it from blowing? Talking about the flange joint at the bottom of the downpipe.

Could just need locking nuts or some loctite on there but have you checked the engine mounts?
It's a common problem with Fiesta's with CVH engines which shift about too much on knackered mounts making the exhaust yaw open loosening off the nuts at the downpipe to centre section join. Might be something similar with your 3i - I had similar problems with my old Orion 1.6i Ghia.

I had thos probsall the time with my 3i.... But the nuts weren't loosening off cos I use 2 nuts on each bolt - Tighten down your first nut as normal, then tighten down another nut onto the first one. Two nuts tightend against each other create a locking section where neither can undo unless you get in there and give it some real force.
Anyway, the probs I had was the downpipe kept cracking and snapping off. ON the bottom of the 2 branch downpipe, where it turns to one. Right at the very end where you have the rolled lip where the system butts up against it, mine kept cracking there. So no matter how many times I checked the tighnes of the nuts and botls, it was the crack that caused it to blow like a fooker

If I crack the manifold I could always get another one from the cabby.
Watch out for a post saying how do I change my engine mounts
