What a joke! The British legal system is a joke! A few weeks ago, a guy with no licence/insurance put a young boy in a wheel chair and escaped jail! This poor guy slaps a womans bum and get a month! Where is the justice there.......?

you cant go round touching people up,a smack on the arse may seem a bit of fun to a drunk man but to the woman it could be VERY SCARY,if some drunk smacked my wifes arse he would be in hospital not prison,

how can you compare a whistle to a smack on the arse

The punishment in NO way fits the crime. The sex offender's list should ONLY have people on it who have committed SERIOUS crimes. What a fucking joke this country's justice system is - compare that with the guy that put the kid in a wheel-chair and then tell me they are of equal merit...
The 5 weeks in prison was MORE than enough to wake the guy up about not doing it again...

You can't move the goal posts, a smack on the arse is in no way the same as a grope of a woman's breast

IF he had groped her breast, I wouldn't be saying that the punishment didn't fit the crime. Common sense dictates where the line is, IMO he should NOT be on the sex offender's list for doing what he did - five weeks in prison is MORE than enough. I would be saying the same if he smacked Jen on the arse. He should not have to live with the stigma of being a sex offender for such a petty thing.
