Default Ford Ka.. Ignition question

Is it distributorless like ford EDIS ? or something else ?

This is for a friend that wants to connect a rev counter.
Suggested to do it for her, but want to be sure what design it is before I go up there.

EDIS with coil pack like fiesta turbo ?
Wasted spark or not ?
...

Thanks very much.

The best one to go for in my opinion is the 80mm ETB, cheap and does the job and is for 2cylinder ignition.

There is a fitting guide on www.kaklub.co.uk in guides if you need some more info.
