Default recognise this hub ???

does any one know what this hub is off ? some ford of course , but what ? ignore the stud sizes theyve been changed

but i dont know what there from.

the actual relationship between the stut centreline and the bottom ball joint centre line is very 'offset' even more so than a 3dr cossie hub, what would be the effect on the handling with this 'offset' ( as in front hubs)

Well there not escort/saphire 4x4 ones as they have to little ears that stick out where the strut pinch bolt fits possibly xr4x4 ?

Hmmmmmm ?

Only other thing really is that they are from a front wheel drive escort of some discription as all 4x4 methods have been exhausted in the above quotes unless rs200 4x4 ?

Try giving the part number to your ford dealer in the morning unless some one can cross refrence it for you on here with microcat ?

Regards Doug .

It resembles a Focus hub looking at the large offset between the bottom ball joint and the strut mount. Also its got a 97BG code stamped into it from around the time the focus was introduced. Cant identify 100% though.

what are them other 2 lugs for then?
looks a bit too offset for what they hsould be to be honest, that and the huge amount of bracing on the steering lug might mean it's for something more exotic

Hi

I think you'll have to run quite an inset wheel with those hubs because the KPI angle looks quite shallow and the steering arm position looks quite high, might give you a bit of bumpsteer unless you lengthen the tie rods or move rack position.

and they remind me of late ultima shape hubs.

cheers
