Default zetec turbo build question regarding c20let pistons ?

hi

anyone help regarding my zetec turbo build.

i have had the 2,0 machined to accept the 86mm c20let pistons,

however,

the machinst wanted to know when fitting c20let pistons to zetec rods to open up the little end for the vauxhall pin to fit are they floating or press fit ?

also he was concerned as he tryed one of the zetec rods under the c20let pistons and said theres no play and he said he was concerned there should be a bit of play on the pin from side to side.

anyone please give me some advice regarding this???

thanks

You need to machine them for some play, and you want about 1 thou of cleraance on the little end bush as its NOT an interference fit.
