Default How do you think this damage to my car was caused?

I woke up yesterday to find my dad has been out in my car. So i drove to the doctors and when i got outside. (Had'nt yet been in the doctors) all of the car the drivers side at the back as all been hit, When i asked him how he did it he tells me he never. Everyone i've showed the damage think he's come turned in to sharp and caught the back. Problem is he will be coming off my insurance but i dont want to take him off if someone has come into it parked outside the house as that would'nt be fair on him. What do you think?

Cheers ben.

depends if you trust your dad or not really?

would be FUCKING low of him if he denies it and he's done it, in fact would be scum imo - wouldnt expect that from a mate let alone blood

What ballin said, id be seriously worried if my own bloody dad couldnt admit to scraping my car when he went out

But looking at that damage you cant really tell if it was another vehicle or done on its own by driving agianst somthing but to catch that on a wall or post or somthing then you'd have to one one crap driver, as these days any car with power steering is a dodle to park

That is as a result of contact with another car, you can see the black marks from the other cars bumper...

Whether HE did it manouvering or someone else did, who knows... (your dad may not even know even if he DID do it)

I see it time and time again and 9 times out of 10 people dont know how it happened (my job)

where are you?

I could SMART repair it within a week for you if you were local

that type of repair would take about an hour to two hours max

About 300 miles from you ROFL, but there are plenty of smart repairers about (finding a decent one may be a struggle though) And dont let them paint the R/quarter damage, just sort the bumper only

Most SMART repairers are mobile and will come to your home or work, dont let on you are desperate as this puts the price up ... BUT within reason someone should be able to sort it in the week if you are readily available and the weather is fine all week

expect to pay circa £70-80 upwards plus TWAT I have heard of some people knocking the VAT off for cash!! apparently that stuff goes on still!!!

At a paintshop, expect to leave the car with them for 3-4 days and pay them circa £100-150 upwards plus TWAT
