advice camcorder for track days

just after a bit if help i've got a head rest camcorder bracket for my car on track day's , but i dont have a camcorder
just wondered if any one can point me in the right direction as to which one will be ok
p.s i have not won the lottery so middle of the range one's please

I would get a mini-DV one mate - they handle bumps and bangs pretty well in the car without damaging expensive DVDs and they're dead easy to port over to the computer when you get home for editing via Firewire.
My personal preference is anything from the Sony range - I have a DCR-TRV19e and it's been brilliant ever since I bought it about 2 years ago!
