Just picked up my second-hand pectal loom from a friend for the cossy and am a bit unsure how to connect it to the existing loom?..

Does anyone know where this part goes to?

I haven’t taken my car apart yet but want to be informed as to what im going to find.. Is there a terminal block like this under the dash somewhere?

Any help would be appreciated

 

Your going to have to pin those wires out mate as those blocks arn't fitting into anything in your car! I'm guessing they were fixed to a purpose made track car car loom.

 

That white plug needs to be cut off and all wires conected to the battery. If i were you, id find the 'mate' of that plug, connect to some power cable and run to the battery.


you should also have a thin ign live feed to connect on the loom, and a rev counter wire

I don’t have any separate wires for the ign live and rev counter Dave but on the other side of the white block there is one small blue wire and two larger wires one with AC on it.. Dam can see this is going to be one of those jobs..

But I presume all of the red wires in that bunch all need to go to the battery, that’s a start at least..

 

Pulled back the sleeving and the other two wires are white if anyone knows where they go

the loom needs the perms as per the white block you have

and an ign trigger

 

I had the same type loom and problem a couple of years back and got all the info off Harvey. Might have it written down somewhere and will let you know if i find it
