I broke mine the other day. I need one permanently for my kit car (cossie powered) that uses mk1 steering and switchgear.
IIRC,
Square hazard switch uses switched live and was fitted to pre facelift sierras
Round hazard is switched earth and was fitted to the facelift sierras.
Rewiring the whole column and loom to use the later switchgear is a lot of hassle.
