serious over fueling, ( 18 mile to a tenner )
Need a bit of info troops, my stg3 saff was never excellent on fuel but recently its got right bad, going about town not to hard, just a couple of bursts here and there i got 18 mile to a tenner. Now its not long been set up ( five weeks or so ) but ive recently changed my turbo, and put a new actuator on with an increase in boost of about 5 or 6 psi, the car runs great but my fuel consumpsion is terrible, i just started it the other day letting it tic over, then gave it a few revs and the kerb at my exhaust was covered in black soot, im gony get it set up again, but just wondering if its gony need any new parts or just tweeked a bit, any help or info apreciated

Explain why i wasted my money getting it set up it needed it so i got it, i was then told ( by the tuner) i would benifit from a larger turbo, so i got one, my car ran fine for at least a few hundred miles then started over fueling, and also explain why thats SO bad its asking for a dead engine, i have stopped using it so its not as if it will get bore wash or that. Im just trying to find out if i can sort it my self before taking it to the tuner again instead of ( as you put it ) wasting my money

and yes having a car setup for a certain turbo then changing it, WILL cause the car to run LEAN (dead engine) so yes it would have been better to get it setup with new turbo
or, done as you did and get it setup, then fit new turbo, then get the correct chip for the new setup and get it setup again.
any how why do i care, it's n iot my engine your gonna be damaging everytime the engine runs, and ask any GOOD tuner, if running a engine with the wrong chip will cause any perminant damage
happy motoring

Howdy mate, same probs on my S1 buddy. Had it at AVA last month and its going back next month once i remember to book it in
My metering head and fuelling gear is coming out and getting some mods done to combat this prob mate, their your best bet
