You will be disappointed with Hostel after watching Saw. I have the same opinion as most, Saw was better than Saw 2, but still both extremely good films.

I have just read that Saw 3 is due for release in October 2006.

Slightly odd comment there!! It a sequel, so it's the continuation of the story and a very good one at that.

saw was supposed to be a trilogy originaly, but much like creep, no one thought it would be a sucess

bring on saw 3 i say, but you do need the stomach for it

i'm also looking forward to see no evil which looks like another version of gore in the same way as texas chainsaw massacre and the devils rejects

I read alot of discussion about Saw 3 and many people feel that it won't work without Jigsaw, which is kinda true. I worry that it will go like the old Nightmare on Elm Street films. OK, so I know they are shite by todays standards, but back in the day, the first 2 or 3 were really good, but the rest were just shite and over-exploited.

Some people have discussed the possibility that it might be a prequel, as in what happened before the events of Saw. Who knows.

I just think that the storyline is superb, such a great idea and works out really well and all topped off with an unreal twist.

Saw 2, good plot, lots of twists, makes you think, but you dont expect the ending, with writing like that they could string it out for another couple of movies and still make it entertaining
It is fucked up though, a hole full of needles for example

there were a lot more fucked up things than that people, but you need to see the film for the full effect

also, watching saw 2 before you've seen saw 1 doesn't work

2 is different, but the same, if you know what i mean
it fills in plenty of gaps and answers some of the questions you were asking yourself in the first movie
the problem is that it leaves you with more questions than you started with

Now, THAT is very true!!!

I think I prefer Saw 2, but then that could be because there's more going on, whereas Saw 1 was mostly set in one place all the time.... Saw 2 has more characters with more backrounds etc...

But the people that come up with the "tests" must be some pretty messed up dudes Some of em are like "whoa, fuck THAT" lol....

when that first bint said she knew what was happening, why didn't them thick fookers listen to what she had to say?
then they would have figured out what all the pictures and drawing were about and they wouldn't have been dead

on the other hand, when there were answers staring them in the face (the burnt bloke) why were they walking into traps?
and what the fook was that stoopid dint doing putting BOTH her hands into that hand chopy off box thing?!?!!?!?

some people just deserve to die

in that film anyway

Dunno if you noticed Dojj, but when the hooker bird walks into the room and we see her through the glass box she puts her hands into, dangling behind it is a key

Watching the extra's, they guys says that all she had to do, had she seen it, is unlock the box with the key and take out the antidote....

But instead she put her hands inside

They also said, that the angle of the box, plus the rubber "baffles" where you put your hands through, disguised the blades that she had to go through... I guess she hadn't realised they were blades when she put her second hand in..... Daft bint

thing is though, she went in there on her own, if someone else had been in there with her they would have only had to get one hand each caught

but i'll stop before i give too much of the film away

there are twists which you expect, and they turn out to be twists that you do expect, but not at the time they happen, if you see what i mean
