Escos at Coombe
Does anyone know anything about the white escort cosworth that was at coombe because it was absolutly amazing to watch through the last bend it was like the tyres were trying to spin off the rims

Yeah I saw that white escos didn't have a spoiler. He was carrying so much speed into that last bend I kept thinking he was going to bin it.
Good driver though, was he racing against the radical sr3's and alike?

yep thats the one! i had a look at it in the paddock and it didnt seem to have a ridiculously big turbo or anything but it was so quick shame its not in the saloons or something would probably be more competative

yeah didn't "look" anything special on the face of it, but chatting with the guys, they were measuring how much fuel they used in qualifying, and decided they needed 7 gallons for a 12 lap race!!
Shame it was in that class as said, but put up some good pace!

Nick Williamson will be pleased to know you spotted him , his car is Bob Tillings old car with quite a few changes !
You can watch him and a few other cosworth Saloons next weekend at silverstone National doing the BARC Dunlop T& R c/ship
He told me today he was leading most of the Radicals until a spin on the 12th lap , shame .
