Default t34 Questions

what shall i do, am selling my t3 and buying a t34 to complement my nice and shiny, new rs500 intercooler, do I go for a 48 housing or 63 housing? I am running greens at the mo and the engine is low comp 200 block. If i get the 48 housing whats the max i will get out of it? and will i need to change the injectors?
if i get the 63 housing do i go greys or blues and what kinda power will i get from this.
the car is a weekend use only and most of my driving is A roads and motorways.

Any advice would be appreciated

For that kind of driving go for the bigger exhaust housing. With the correct injectors and set up, you could see 360bhp before you will need to go internal to lower the compression. You can then get close to 400 with cams and head work and maybe a little over with a live map.

No, I'm saying that your type of driving is more suitable for the 0.63 a/r. Having a lower compression will allow you to run more boost (combined with bigger injectors). You would need to check your engine over for any signs of gasket leakage before you could begin upping the boost or saying if it was suitable. However, be aware that the more boost you run, the more likely you are to have eventual gasket failure. I used to get 8-12k miles out of a YB611 depending on how many track days I did.

at what kinda of power?

i am currently running 23 psi on my t3 hybrid and gasket seems a ok.

So if i put on the 63 housing do i switch immediately to different injectors or will the greens cope with 360 bhp?

385bhp

Up to you. You won't get much more than 340-350bhp out of greens. Will need the fuelling checked what ever you do.
