zx6r.. tell you what its awsome at that speed on a bike was on the motorway going to kendal, it was avery hot day, i waited til ther wasnt much traffic about and went for it ,very scary tho the bike was still acelerating when i shut off at 155, the engine sounded fantastic i red lined out in 5th at just under 16000 rpm then poped in to 6th flat on the tank i also want to say respect to the fast cars that was out that day , non of them messed with the bikes cant wait for the r1

I managed a 189mph indicated on Saturday(mates private track) on my R1 That was off a roundabout at around 50mph to the next roundabout which is a mile in between

Have to say I must be a bit insane as it feels almost normal now, not scary at all. I prefer corners really to be honest though

My R1 was great, 170 would come up real fast

i was doing 166 on my mv the other evening anbd three times i hit the rev limiter.
i kept thinking there was something wrong with the bike
wasnt until i got of motorway i reailsied i was only in 5th gear
what a fool i am

seen an indicated 145 on mine, that was just a hair off the limiter, feels fast at the time, then when you get down to about the 100mph mark you feel like you could walk faster
