Quick question needing answered please.
WTF is a chatter valve??
I querried this on another ford website as someone was selling a car with one on and the reply i got off a boy was
' if you don't know what one is what are you doing on here'
Is it a new slang word for a dump valve, i must be getting old
???

mutually exclusive, you either have chatter (no valve) or you have a dumpvalve
To have both just means the spring is set at a certain boost level and your not dumping anymore than that level of boost (chatter) and when you do dump at that boost (or more) you will get the usual dump valve noise
