havent been on here for a few weeks, pc is fubarred. apparently pcs running windows are prone to a virus thats going around. before any one says about virus protection i had it fully covered but it still got in. know of loads thats been affected by this, any one else had any problems???

 

what anti-virus program u use?

 

i use norton. why you ask, are there other available that are more superior than others. never had a problem wid it in the last 18 months, not sure what my mates use but they also had the same problems

 

Your using one of the best. Others ones are crap, not all though.

I Been using norton for donkeys years, had every version, never had a single problem. Unyet everyone else seems to have big trouble with norton.

 

apparently this virus is doing its rounds and attacks pcs that are running windows xp and 2000 etc regardless of protection measures

 

mine has just had a total numb nut moment over last few days..

keeps freezing out and half my programmes won't work.
god knows whats fecked now as think i had some trojan fellas in there!

and all my usual virus protection running!

 

Been gettin silly amounts of alerts lately , could be trying to get in. Only upgraded my norton last week aswell thank god

was one mine found recently it was in a downloaded programme. dont think it was doing much though as dont think id opened it
